Combining various textiles - such as fabric or multi-axial fabric - with our resin systems creates an extraordinary variety of products, which enables us to find customer-specific solutions.
Our CF products can be processed according to all standard procedures, and tailored exactly to the special wishes of our customers.
High-quality visibility applications, structural components, medical applications and flame-retardant systems are already being accomplished with prepregs from c-m-p gmbh.
Whether based on carbon fibre or glass fibre: When designing components, the uni-directional prepreg systems prove convincing through the unique combination of the highest mechanical properties with maximum degrees of freedom.
Due to the possibility of variation with supporting textiles (such as fleece), specific customer requirements can already be addressed in the prepreg process.
UD prepregs can be manufactured with an area weight of 80g/m² to 800g/m².
The mostly mechanical applications and an extraordinarily flexible process result in a variety of fibres - such as high-module fibres or large tow fibres.
To fully represent the processes of our customers, c-m-p gmbh offers mould-making prepregs, which are used to make specific product forms in prepreg processing.
These tooling prepregs can be pre-cured at low temperatures and post-cured in a subsequent step up to a Tg of 190°C.
Dry UD fabrics with an area weight of 80g/m² to 1000g/m² complete our product portfolio.
Fixed by a - single-sided or two-sided - grid, our dry UD fabrics are distinguished by very good handling.
Dry UD textiles made of CF and GF are used in model building, in the construction industry and also in wet lamination processes, for example. With our UD process a great variety of fibres can be processed to UD fabrics.
Epoxy resins are polymeric or semi-polymeric materials, and as such rarely exist as pure substances, since a variable chain length results from the polymerisation reaction by which they are produced. High purity grades can be produced for certain applications, e.g. by using a distillation purification process. One downside of high purity liquid grades is their tendency to form crystalline solids due to their highly regular structure, which requires melting to enable processing.
„customer meets perfection“ not only stands for outstanding material quality and fast delivery times, but also for genuine, active customer proximity, consistent customer-oriented thinking and action, the best advisory skills and an excellent and perfectly organised service network.
Based on our know-how in the field of fibre composite materials, we can offer our customers target and solution-oriented support, which is individually tailored. In close and intensive dialogue with the customer, our dedicated and highly qualified team solves both material-specific questions as well as detailed questions along the entire value chain. Our global, external network enables us to find fast and targeted solutions, and to successfully complete projects at the highest level.
